Crystal Tears Ranch, a safe place. The only safe place for lycans and vampires alike. The 10,000 acre plot of land is the only place where some peace remains. Vampires and lycans have been fighting for hundreds of years, slowly bringing humans into the mix. Now, however, lycans and vampires try not to fight as much as they strive for survival despite being hunted down by the government. Slaughtered and mutilated the remains of those unfortunate enough to be captured lay in the streets. All of that stops inside of the foreboding fences of Crystal Tears Ranch.

The lands kind of act like a church, vampires and lycans can’t be hunted by the government within the boundaries. Any who try and kill another within the fences soon finds themselves killed, typically by being dragged along the paved city streets behind a horse.

Victoria Valintine founded the sanctuary when she was fifteen. Her grandfather gave her the land in his will when she was only ten. It wasn’t until her best friend and boyfriend was murdered for being a lycan that she decided to open the sanctuary. After a lot of long hours, blood, sweat, and tears the property’s fences suddenly became torpedo-proof walls that were nine foot high with barbed wire coils on top.

Victoria tries to keep the peace amongst everyone while keeping them safe… We’ll see how long she lasts before she gets herself killed.

Victoria watched him,"Somethimes I wonder if some part of him has changed, like his senses and speed..."

Aden shook his head,"I've got blood and he could kill you.." Aden hoped that would lure james out atleast.

He had shrugged of Gackts attitude, not being one to rile easily. He went back to his office and started working on the file of hunters again. He wasn't trying to play hero, he could care less if Gackt or any other vampire died... He wasn't fond of them by any means and tolerated them because of Victoria.

As if Aden had been listening he rolled his chair over to the door, closeing and locking it.
